about

Quick demo, recorded in one go in my university student halls room using a singstar microphone. Vocals are there, just unfortunately (or fortunately) really really quiet. If you turn it up and strain, you can hear the remnants of them.

lyrics

The ancient oaks and pylons,
Form a foggy, misty backdrop.
Snow falls from grace to winter's song.
It doesn't seem to ever stop.

So beautiful, in it's virgin virtue.
A work of precious nature,
Unspoiled by man.

My ghost rises up, separate from the soul.
Looking for a resting place. Looking for a home.
Returning to the earth, it burrows in the snow,
There to lie in sorrow. We all die alone.

So beautiful, in it's victorian virtue.
Light can't pierce it's grey-ish hue.

The bodysnatchers out,
Harvesting my ghost.
They excavate the earth,
But they can't ever hurt it's host.

about

Great Ghosts Essex, UK

New solo acoustic project from one man mentalist, Liam White, formerly behind 'Lord Hugo Whitedorf'. Combining sketchy lo-fi recordings with enigmatically obscure songwriting creating a unique experience altogether. He feels the Great Ghosts in him.
